Tears Dry

Hi everyone, sorry for the lack of posts lately -- my computer has been acting up a bit. But even though I haven't been posting, I've been taking photos and getting some post ideas together and ready to post -- so I should be doing more new posts shortly!

This is what I wore last Thursday. My black bodysuit from SheLikesClothing on eBay, thrifted navy and white dotted skirt, skin tone tights, and new Aldo heels. I keep wondering, is there a rule against black and navy? I used to think so, but I've begin to feel that both combinations (black with navy or brown) can work nicely depending on the specific items and overall look.

Radioactive

I hope you've all had a nice long weekend (and Easter, if you celebrate)!

This is what I wore on Saturday, I was spending the day just hanging round home so I went for an bit more of a casual outfit than usual. I wore my high waist jeans, my old bat sleeve t-shirt, a pair of vintage earrings that were my Mum's in the '80s (and I popped on my Forever 21 patent heels for the photos).
The weather here has been amazing the past two days -- it's so nice you can go out without a coat! I checked the forecast and it's supposed to get cooler out again, but it's lovely while it lasts!

That's a Lousy Life For a Washed Up Wife

Sorry for no posts the last couple of days, I've been preoccupied with coursework and all that, but I should be less busy soon!

This is what I wore on Sunday. I think I'm absolutely terrible at writing about my outfits and I never know what to say, so I'll just say this is an example of the sort of outfit I love. Just simple and classic.

The cardigan and heels are from Suzy Shier, the cropped jeans are from Forever 21. The lipstick is Ravishing by MAC, as usual. The nail polish is called Classic from OPI's old DS Collection. I've just re-discovered it and it's such a pretty polish -- it's a sparkly nude shade and I just love it. I don't usually like nude polishes, but the glitter in this one really makes it for me.
