I CAN'T SEEM TO WIN FOR LOSING

Here's my outfit from Thursday.

I bought the faux fur jacket from a thrift shop last summer, it's really too big, but a belt helps that a bit, the belt in these photos is from Sirens. The jeans are my old favourites, they're basically the only blue jeans I've had through all of secondary school! The heels are from La Chateau and leather gloves from Aldo.

It's still so cold here! It was snowing a little earlier, but it's stopped, for now, haha.

IT'S BOUND TO BE A SIGHT TO SEE

Here's what I wore on Valentine's Day. That old lace shirt that used to be mum's is on heavy rotation lately, haha, it goes with anything! Since it's been cold here I put a black shirt on underneath, for the extra warmth and a bit of a different look! Paired with black denim shorts, stirrup leggings that I haven't worn for ages (they used to be my favourite!), and my black heels.

I WANT YOU SO

It's been cold here again for the past few days so decided to do something I hardly ever do on Friday, which was wear a scarf, haha. It's an old super soft knitted one that my mum gave that used to be hers. I've had the jacket for ages and forget where it's from, the jeans are just plain black skinny jeans, and the heels are my old pair from La Chateau!

Like I said, it's been so cold here the past few days! I went round to get the mail this afternoon and I felt half frozen after I'd gotten back!, haha.

Tomorrow I'm thinking I might take a trip downtown, but I'll see if I still feel like it in the morning. I want to see if I can find the new issue of Glamour and I've been meaning to pick something up from a friend for over a week now, I really ought go do it soon! Maybe I'll even go down to the legislature buildings, we'll see, haha.

Anyway, I have some photos I took yesterday as well, but I might not post those until tomorrow. That way, I can post them on Lookbook and my blog at the same time.

I'M GOING BACK TO WHERE I STARTED

Here's what I wore on Wednesday!

I'd been trying to figure out how to work that little hat into an outfit, and decided that it needed to be sort of the "stand out" piece of a overall plain outfit. I was originally going to wear my usual jeans, but when I was looking my closet I thought my high wasit shorts might be better. Paired them with a very understatedly glittery black top, black tights, and black heels, and ended up with this! I bought the hat from Icing Accessories last year, the shirt and shorts are thrifted, the tights are Secret brand, and the heels are from Sirens (bought last spring).

I've been listening to Adele's new album, 21, on repeat lately. I loved her first album, and the second is just as good. She's amazing!

TUESDAY'S LOOK

As I said, I'm trying post more outfits so here's what I wore on Tuesday!

I was aiming to create this outfit around my little pink pill box hat I bought at a thrift shop a couple years ago. I decided to pair it with this floral print top, which is actually a mini dress that I folded up and under, haha. Paired that with plain black jeans, and my black glittery platforms from Sirens, and voila!

I could've wore a skirt or dress and done something really girly, but I honestly prefer pants over skirts almost anyday, and pants, I think, help keep most looks more casual.

It's been raining all day today, but it seems to have let up for now, it's supposed to be sunny tomorrow, so I'll be happy if it is! And lately I've been watching a tonne of The Thick of It, anyone else watch that show? It's brilliant!

RUMOUR HAS IT

I'm trying to get back into the swing of taking outfit photos more often. I'm going to try and take some everyday this week, and so far, I've kept up. We'll see if I can keep at it, haha.

This was Monday's look.

I've had these jeans sitting in my closet for months, and was so bored of wearing the same blue jeans and same black jeans all the time, screw it, I thought, and put these on. If I'm required burned at the stake now for wearing these baggy jeans, so be it, haha.

Paired them with my lace t-shirt and red pumps, and I'm set.

Hi everyone!

Sorry for my temporary abandonment of my blog, but I'm back now! Getting back into the swing of things, here are two photos from last week.


My old Canucks shirt, which is way too big, I wore that on Friday, and they won the game they played that night. They're on a winning streak, actually, past six games! The only sport I care about is hockey, and well, I did watch quite a bit of the World Cup this past summer, haha.


This is from Saturday afternoon, still not a big fan of having my hair up, but I think it does suit in this photo.
