• Ribbon
• Scissors
•Fake Flowers (I bought mine at a thrift shop as they are much more expensive from craft shops)
• Glue Gun
• Glue Gun Glue Sticks
• Plastic Gems

Step #1
Cut a piece of ribbon about 35 - 40 inches. All of mine are roughly 38 inches, you want to make sure to cut the ribbon long enough to go all the way around your head and tie at the back.

Step #2
Lay out the flowers on the ribbon before gluing them in place. This way, you can see how you like them arranged best before they're glued on. Make sure to leave about 8 inches on each end so you can tie it around your head to wear without it coming loose or being too short to tie.

Step #3
Once you have them glued in place you can decide if you want to have 'natural' looking headband, or add anything extra. For mine, I decided to add a few tiny plastic gems.

Step #4
To add the gems, again I used my hot glue gun. For this, I found it eaiser to pick up the gems with a pair of needle nose pliers, apply a little glue to the back of the gem while holding it the pliers and place it exactly where I wanted it. Although, it's not necessary if you don't have pliers, using your fingers will work as well, but may prove a little frustrating to hold and place them exactly where you want.

Finished!
Once you let the glue dry completely (which shouldn't take long if you use a hot glue gun) you have your new, handmade flower headband!

I've made three so far, the first two are the ones I wore in pictures a couple of posts ago, and the bottom one is the newest one shown in this tutorial.

I took these about five minutes after making this one, and I think it's my favourite so far!
