Would you ever review runway?I have never before, but I wouldn't rule it out for the future if I run across a show I particularly found interesting. What's your favourite part about blogging? It's hard to say. I like a lot of the things involved in it. I like having this kind of medium to share my photography and work in that aspect, and my thoughts or plans. I also like talking to other bloggers and the readers of my own blog. I like getting feedback on my photography and such from all of you. And I just generally like having a blog that I can basically say anything in.Where have you traveled?I haven't traveled a lot in my life, so far. I've been to several towns and cities in California when I was younger, and been to Vancouver, BC. Other than that though, I haven't been off Vancouver Island. When I'm a little bit older I'd like to travel a little. Off the top of my head, I'd like to see New York City someday. What are some goals you'd like to accomplish? That's a tough one. I have a lot of goals, ranging from small to large. Ranging from things like, I'd like to become more outgoing to wanting to attend university when I graduate high school.Who are your favourite designers?Admittedly, I don't know a lot of designer's work. Right now, I love Chanel, and Christian Dior. I also really liked McQueen's designs, and absolutely loved some Balmain's designs for their 2009 lines last year.Favourite music?I'm always finding new artists I like, but the ones that I really love are: Amy Winehouse, Michael Jackson, The Killers, Lily Allen, Dragonette, and Lady Gaga. What are some of your pet peeves?I have a lot of pet peeves related to people, haha. I hate when people are disrespectful, lie, and cheat. I hate weeks in the winter here when the sun comes out maybe, once. I frustrate myself a lot too. Discovering my mobile has a dead battery when I really need it. And one minuscule one? When my cats pull the push pins holding my posters up out of the walls. What time period would you have felt most comfortable in?I love this question! I'd like to say, maybe the 60's or 70's, maybe even the 50's. I love a lot of music from the 60's and 70's, and I think I would have liked living in a more laid back time. I also love the fashion and style during these years. I think I would have kind of fit into the 60's (0r 70's) just fine, haha.
is school fun in Victoria? It's basically like anywhere else, I think. Not overly fun, or terrible, haha.
Are there a lot of old people there? That's hard for me to say. I've lived here all my life so I don't know what would be classed as 'a lot', but I think that there is quite a population of older people. They do call Victoria "the city of the newly wed and nearly dead", haha.
Are there a lot of people like you in Victoria who like to dress up?Of course there are some, not a whole lot though, that I know. I'd say Victoria's vibe is more casual and laid back than dressy. In Canada, I swear it's a west coast thing (Victoria, Vancouver, etc), the majority is pretty casual, while the east coast (Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, etc) is more dressy.
Do you wear make-up and heels a lot?I wear heels quite a bit, but if I want to look a bit more casual I'll wear flats. As for makeup, I wear makeup to an extent everyday, what kind and how much differs.
I kind of want to dress up, too, but my place isn't really the stylish type, and I'm thinking I'll look a bit like an idiot. Can I ask your opinion on that? You just have to be willing to stand out a bit, not that that's a bad thing at all! Sometimes I feel like I stick out like a sore thumb, and sometimes it irks me a bit, and sometimes it doesn't bother me at all. You won't look like an idiot though, you'll just look well-dressed! :)
What is your general makeup routine like?Generally, I've been wearing quite a bit of makeup. I darken and fill-in my eyebrows a bit with a pencil. Put on liquid foundation all over my face, touch up spots with consealer, sometimes put on all-over powde (sometimes not), and some pink blush. Then I use liquid eyeliner for my eyeliner, and usually do some kind of cat-eye look, with a bit of mascara on my top and bottom lashes. And then apply false eyelashes. I'm trying to come up with a slightly lighter makeup look for Spring and Summer though.
What is your most favourite place ever, to buy clothes? That's hard to say. The first place that comes to mind is Sirens, haha, they have some tacky stuff, but some really cute things if you look around enough.
you're in high school? Freshman, sophomore or senior?Juniour, actually. I'm in grade 11 this year. :)
what is your favorite song today?
Good question... I'd have to say my current favourite song is Vienna, by Billy Joel.
and band?The Killers, hands down.
you think you're a fashion inspiration?I don't really see myself as a fashion inspiration, I know some people have taken inspiration from my outfits, but I don't, on a day-to-day scale, see my self as a fashion inspiration.
you dress with everything that you like or want?I basically dress however I like. If I feel like wearing jeans and a t-shirt one day, and a skirt, sweater and lace legging the next, that's what I do!
This question may be a bit stupid, but your hairdo has just "normal" bangs, slightly pulled to side or no?That's basically how I have by bangs right now, I used to have side-bangs, but since they've been growing and I've been cutting them, they're kind of transitioning into full-bangs, if that makes any sense, haha.
Could you show pictures of your closet and bedroom?Sure thing, next time I clean it all up and straighten everything out, I'll take some pictures and post them.
How do you make your wall collage?I mostly rip and cut pictures out of magazines, and then glue them to big pieces of art paper, and tack those to the wall. Very simple. :)
Where would you most want to go right now?No where but here, really! Or, well maybe Vancouver, but I'd rather go there next month! ;)
What advice would you give to someone who wants to do the kind of blog that you're doing?I'd say just post what you like. Your photos, art, stories, thoughts, et cetera. That's basically all that I do!
Do you like to read?Yes, very much so if I can find a book I like. I'm currently reading Lady Gaga: Behind The Fame by Emily Herbert. Not the most classic and intelligent piece of literature, but it is interesting!
What was the last movie you saw?I honestly can't remember, it was an older one that I caught while channel surfing a few weeks ago, but I don't remember the title of it.
I'd like to be a blogger, too, and I wanted to know how it's like. It's interesting. You get to share your interests, thoughts, and work and see how people respond to it. That's one of the best parts. The part of it all I like least? The pressure I feel if I don't update for several days, I feel like I should but I often get busy and forget or don't have time.
